What we checked on October 4, 2026
We read Promptchan's public creation information, privacy policy and refund policy, and checked the active CrakRevenue offer record. The privacy policy displayed an update date of October 2, 2026. We did not buy Gems, run a paid generation, benchmark output speed or create an account. There is no measured quality score in this review. Product descriptions and published conditions establish what the operator represents; they do not independently establish image fidelity, a reliable character memory or the behavior of every subscription tier.
Start with a concrete creation task
Before paying, define a small task: a fictional adult character, an original background or a few variations of your own authorized image. Decide what a usable output means, including framing, consistency and whether it can be exported in the format you need. The official page describes cloning a community or historical image to adjust prompts and settings. That is a workflow claim worth checking against your task, not proof that every variation preserves a face or follows every instruction. AI output can be inconsistent, and repeating a generation may consume additional units.
Use subjects you are entitled to depict. Do not upload another person's private image or try to create intimate imagery of an identifiable real person without consent. An operator's ownership statement about outputs does not remove third-party privacy, likeness or copyright interests. For commercial work, retain a record of the input's origin and review the current terms governing the intended use. A downloaded file and a subscription receipt alone do not establish that every use of that file is permissible.
Free access and paid limits
Promptchan advertises a free tier with Gems and additional features on paid plans. The creation page says private generation is available on paid plans. These are distinct questions: can a user try the workflow, and can the resulting material be kept outside the public gallery? Do not assume a free experiment is private merely because you did not share a link manually. Check the selected generation mode before submitting a prompt, and inspect the visibility of the resulting image before relying on it for sensitive work.
Compare the total price, billing period, included Gems and the activities that consume them. Determine whether credits reset, expire or carry over, and how failed or repeated attempts are handled in the current plan. We have not verified those allowances inside an account, so this review does not insert an old credit count or a universal price. A lower monthly-equivalent figure may represent an annual upfront payment. Treat the final order summary, not a banner or a character message, as the information needed to approve a charge.
Private mode has a narrower meaning than confidentiality
Keeping an image out of a public gallery is a visibility control. It does not, by itself, explain storage, staff access, legal retention or every use of related account information. The privacy policy describes categories including account, transaction, technical and prompt/search data. Its treatment of public-mode prompts is particularly relevant when choosing a generation mode. Read the current document beside the account setting rather than turning the word private into an absolute promise that nothing can be stored or accessed.
For a first experiment, use an invented scenario that contains no sensitive personal information. Keep payment information within the official checkout, never inside a prompt. Use a unique password and review sign-in methods, email notifications and social-platform connections. If you publish an output to the community, assume it may be viewed and saved by other users. An account deletion or later change of visibility may not remove copies already downloaded elsewhere.
Refund policy and recurring charges
The official refund page describes a 30-day request window with eligibility conditions, including usage-related restrictions and exceptions. It also discusses annual charges and automatic renewal. A request window is not an unconditional money-back guarantee. Before purchase, read the current conditions, identify the merchant and keep the receipt and purchase date. If you need a refund, contact the listed support route with the order reference and explain the issue. We have not tested the support outcome or whether any particular usage pattern qualifies.
Handle cancellation, refund and account deletion separately. Cancellation concerns future charges; a refund concerns an existing charge; deleting an account concerns access and stored information. Verify the channel that controls renewal, especially if a purchase is routed through an application store. Save the cancellation confirmation and monitor the next expected billing date. Do not assume that simply deleting a character, stopping generation or signing out ends a paid plan.

Promptchan may suit adults who want to test original fictional character art or AI interaction and can evaluate output against a defined task. Begin with non-sensitive input, confirm visibility before generating and understand the budget and renewal channel before upgrading. If your project requires guaranteed likeness, confidential processing or a specific commercial right, obtain clear current terms rather than inferring those properties from a successful-looking example.
